Windows has always been the dominant in Operating Systems and it has proved once again with the release of Windows 7. A neat comparison between Windows 7 and Linux will explain why Windows 7 will be preferred above all. First the Bitlocker feature available in Windows 7 helps to encrypt each partition of a hard disk and the administrators can also store encryption keys and access using a USB device.
But the Linux allows only for complete encryption of a hard disk that is through TrueCrypt.
Windows 7 has an Application controlling feature called AppLocker which strictly determines what to run on the PC. That is done by the administrators through Group Policy. But Linux has its normal behaviour of controlling applications.
Apart from this Windows 7 has an enhanced powerful command line interface called Powershell scripting tool which allows administrators to write, execute and test scripts from a single interface. But in Linux the project called Pash is still in the development phase. That’s all for now folks. Remaining in the future. Stay connected.
