Waterproof portable hard drive from Silicon Power

Silicon Power introduced the new waterproof portable hard drive in two different colors black and red available in different capacities including 250BG, 320GB, 500GB and 640GB. The Armor A70 portable hard drive meets the IEC529 IPX7 standards and thus it can withstand dust, pressure, drops and submersion into water of upto three feet for 30 minutes. The device is powered using USB 2.0 and therefore you don’t have to carry any secondary power source with you while traveling. The Armor A70 portable drive will work with windows xp, vista and 7. However, users can also reformat the drive to work with Mac OS. Release date and price of the device is yet to be announced.
