If you think that rugged phones are non-attractive, then you should take a look at the new rugged phone developed by a company called Verykool. The Verykool R80 rugged phone is one of its kinds to have a pretty cool look and design.
The R80 phone features a 2.4-inch screen and a 1-inch OLED display on the rear. The phone supports quad band frequencies (850/900/1800/1900) and also uses GPRS class 12 technology. The phone also has Bluetooth, USB tethering and PC sync capability.
The phone does come with a 2MP camera, but you would need to add external microSD cards to store more pictures and videos, because the internal memory of the phone is only 30MB. The device is also shockproof and waterproof, thus it can survive any harsh conditions. With four hours of talk time, ten days standby time and weighs just 114g, the phone is really a good one. Price details are yet to be revealed.
