Motorola Droid 2 is finally to be available for pre-sale by Verizon wireless on August 11. After lot of leaks about the phone Verizon made this final statement. The Motorola Droid 2 is believed to the first Android phone ever to hit the market with an updated version 2.2 Froyo.
The Motorola Droid 2 features a 5 megapixel camera with slide out QWERTY keyboard, 1 GHz TI OMAP processor, Adobe flash player 10.1, Skype, 8GB in-built memory and an extra microSD card slot for adding additional 8GB of memory.
The Droid 2 will hit the stores on August 12th for a price tag of $199.99 along with a two-year contract from Verizon wireless.
