PQI has recently announced the world’s smallest USB 3.0 flash drives. The new USB 3.0 flash drives are lightweight, tiny and provides up to 10 times faster data transmission than USB 2.0 flash drives. They have also applied a new technology to subdue the overheating problems while transferring data over USB 3.0 interface.
The PQI USB 3.0 flash drives measure just 3 centimeter long, which makes it as the best solution for travelers who likes to carry around a flash drive all day. The flash drive is carved beautifully and it has a glossy exterior ivory white coating with a status LED light indicator at the tip.
Using an USB 3.0 flash drive has got several advantages over USB 2.0. For example, you can prevent data loss with USB 3.0 caused by instable current flow and it consumes less power as well. Finally, the new PQI flash drives are downward compatible with USB 2.0.
The all new PQI USB 3.0 flash drives will be available in different storage capacities 4GB, 8GB, 16GB and 32GB with lifetime warranty. No word on pricing yet.
