Toshiba is expected to release the first 3D Blu-ray capable laptop in Japan and Europe very soon. The Japan name for the laptop will be Toshiba Dynabook TX/98MBL and Europe name will Toshiba Satellite A665.
Toshiba has joined with NVIDIA to offer the 3D capabilities. The notebook will ship with either GeForce GT330M graphics card or GeForce GTS 350M. The Toshiba Satellite A665 comes bundled with the NVIDIA 3D vision package which has a pair of 3D glasses and a set of USB connected infra-red emitting devices.
The notebook is expected to be released by the third quarter of this year with the price tag of around $2500.
