Toshiba announced an Android smartbook, the Toshiba AC100. This smartbook run Google’s Android OS v2.1. This release notice from Toshiba came right after announcing its new Toshiba Liberto W100 Dual Screen Netbook.

The Toshiba AC100 features a 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 250 SoC processor, 32GB SSD, 512MB of RAM, WiFi, Bluetooth v2.1, 1.3MP webcam, optional 3G and a HDMI jack.

The Toshiba AC100 will ship with a 10.1-inch display that supports resolution up to 1,024 x 600 pixels. The Toshiba AC100′s battery will give you up to 8 hours of browsing and video playback and also 7 days of standby time.
