Toshiba has announced two new high-performance laptops for business professionals. The Tecra R850 and Portégé R830 are the thinnest laptops that Toshiba ever made.
Both these laptops are very thin, light and highly-durable with long lasting battery life as well. They have been built to meet all the demanding requirements of business users without adding any excess weight.
The laptops boast second generation Intel® Core™ processors, 128 GB SSD or 7200 RPM SATA hard drives and optional 1GB dedicated AMD Radeon graphics. They also come with wide range of ports that includes HDMI, ExpressCard, USB 3.0, Gigabit Ethernet and docking connectors. As far connectivity concern, both laptops support WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0 and Intel AMT 7.0 (Intel Active Management Technology).
The Tecra laptop series are built using a unique fiberglass reinforced casing with a honeycomb rib structure and the Portégé series laptops is built using an exclusive Magnesium Alloy casing with a honeycomb structure. Both these casing ensures enhanced durability and strength without adding much to the laptop weight.
