cool ideas
Sometimes we see things that make us go, "WHAT? Why didn't we think of that!" We find something that we think is quite cool or inventive and want to share it with you. This is truly a menagerie of things that we savvy chicks think are worth of being brought to your attention.

Savvy Chick Wants to Be Your MySpace Friend
Attention all Savvy Chicks! Want to be my friend? Check out my lovely MySpace profile and add me to your friends. If I make your top 8 I’ll give you a shout out right here on Savvy Chick. I will start a MySpace “Roll” which is my version of a BlogRoll and we’ll all stay connected.
I’m a lonely MySpacer with only 88 friends and 13 comments. I need friends. I’m loyal, kind and fun to hang out with, so how can you resist being my new friend? Post me comments on MySpace and tell me what you’re favorite “PINK” items are!!! Let’s make this a two-way conversation.
Thanks! XOXO, Savvy Chick

Adorable Pink Convertible
The pink Nissan Micra C+C (coupe and cabriolet) is a limited edition automobile that’s sure to make every pink loving girlie girl’s dreams come true! Nissan produced only 275 of them, so you’ll have to fight off all the other girls at the car dealerships.
If you’re a true Barbie Girl you might be interested in a very special one they have at a Chorley Nissan Dealership which includes a personalized license plate with “BAR81E” on it. Granted it will cost you over big bucks $$$.
Unfortunately, this isn’t available in the United States, so you’ll have to pack your bags and move to London if you’re an American like me. Sigh. Yet another reason to pack my bags and cross the pond. Anyone want to help me move?
approx. $15,000 (£12995) Chorley Nissan UK
Oops, it appears that not everyone shares my love of this little convertible.. see a video of Richard Hammond for Top Gear (UK tv show) as he test drives it and basically disses it the entire time. Guys, it’s a girl car…

Crib Candy, it’s like crack for decorators!
You mean you’ve not been to Crib Candy before? Well, it’s really cool. It’s a thumbnail bookmark blog with the best stuff for your home. It’s powered by Wists and has pictures and links to sites all around the Internet with anything and everything you can dream up for your home and your life. The coolest thing is that anyone can participate. With just 2 easy steps you too can be a Crib Candy contributor.
Here’s how:
1. Save: Click on ‘bookmark this’ and signup with Wists to save anything you like in your own thumbnail gallery.
2. Contribute: When using Wists, tag bookmarks with ‘cribcandy’ to send us tips.
Easy huh? Now, if you’re a shopaholic we are going to warn you not to click the link. Seriously. It’s going to take a lot of self-control to resist all of the tempting goodies they have to offer.

Rainy Days Make You Cry?
Let’s make a rainbow! If you have kids, this would be a fun experiment. Or maybe you’re having a really crappy day and long for the sunshiney carefree days of your youth. Cheer yourself up and buy your own rainbow maker! Yes, there is such a thing. Don’t worry, I didn’t know about it either. Here’s the description from the website:
“Stick this amazing little gadget on a sunlit window for 24 hours and watch. The solar panel powers the motor, which turns the axle, which rotates the big Swarovski crystal, throwing prisms around the room.”

Need a Pink Taxi, Anyone?

The ladies of the UK can now travel in a stylish and safe pink Renault Kangoo taxi. It features bubble gum pink, or actually more of a Barbie pink paint job and luscious leather seats in pink as well. The service is designed to make traveling via taxi safer for women. I think it’s a great idea. The only down side that I see is that it would draw a lot of attention. I’m more of an “off the radar” girl myself so I can’t quite imagine showing up in a Barbie car.. but then again I would definitely use a service like this for my daughters. So, it’s definitely a good idea. You can check out the Pink Ladies website here.
