Sprint finally confirmed that it will carry the world’s first push-to-talk Android phone, Motorola i1. This Android phone closely follows the US military standards to protect it from rain, dust, shock and vibrations. The device will ship with 3.1-inch HVGA touchscreen, 5MP camera with flash, WiFi, MicroSD slot and Opera Mini 5 for faster Internet browsing. Touchscreen uses the new Monster Glass for obtaining better scratch resistance under various rough conditions.
You can also make instant calls over Sprint Nextel iDEN network by using this full touch Android 1.5 phone. It also has Swype for better text typing experience. Anyway, Motorola won’t release the device before summer. So, we’ve to wait for some more time to get the official price and hardware specifications. However, you can pre-order the device here.
