Sony recently announced updates to its VAIO P Series laptops. Now, the laptop gets an accelerometer and touchpad. The touchpad is fixed to the right and left of the LCD bezel, allowing you to navigate the desktop by just holding the screen.

The most interesting part is the addition of accelerometer; you can flip the laptop vertically to read documents and also tilt it to right or left while surfing the Internet to move the webpages forward and backward.
Sony has also updated the processor from the entry-level 1.6GHz Atom Z530 to much faster Intel Atom Z560 processor. And, finally as we all expect the VAIO P series gets a new matte lid that will be available in five different colors.
The laptop is expected to ship in June. However the official pricing is unknown, could be little bit expensive.
Update: The US price of the device is announced and it will start from $799 and it uses only 1.6GHz Atom Z530 not the Intel Atom Z560 processor. The German price of the device is also known and it will be 899,00 € as on Sonystyle.de.
