Blah, I’m sick
I’ve not abandoned you. Really I haven’t. I mean it. Really I do. You know how much I love you all, right?
I’m soooo very sick right now.
I’m home in my warm, cozy bed while everyone else is out having NCAA final four parties. Bummer!
My daughter is going to take over for a few days. She’s got lots of goodies ready to go, so be nice to her.

So, you have a cool silver RAZR but you really want a pink one. Whether it’s that you don’t want to pay hundreds just to get the pink phone or the fact that you can find one.. here’s a quick, cheap and simple solution! Get a cover for it.
Not so unlike the days of interchangeable faceplates, this snaps right over your phone. You can get it in loads of colors too, not just baby pink. At $9.78 you can afford to buy a rainbow!
Besides, you know that after a month or two, you’ll be absolutely sick of the pink phone. Right?! Getting a snap-on shield is the perfect solution.

Time to Toss the Chia Pet Out the Window
Leave it to the Japanese to make cute little planters like these. I hate those damn Chia Pets that are everywhere during the Holidays. Why can’t we have more adorable stuff like these? I just placed an order for a set of them for my office. I can’t wait until they arrive!
Nyokki means grow in Japanese, and that’s exactly what these Nyokki Pets do! These little pet plants are adorable and original and they are hand made in Japan from glazed ceramic. They are shaped like eggs with fabric legs. Filled with a growing media and rye grass seeds, these Nyokki pets are easy to grow - seeds germinate and grass grows to full height in less than two weeks. You can style your Nyokki’s “hair” or cut it and watch it grow again! Comes as a set of two matching Nyokki pets. Choose from Monkey, Chickee, Froggie, Panda, and Piglet.

Yahoo! Voice, the New Skype?

Phone In.. Phone Out.. Sound familiar? Make free worldwide PC-to-PC calls and enjoy great sound quality and voice mail with Yahoo Voice. They’re going to give Skype a run for the money. They’re prices are lower and the quality is good. Sue and I tested the 3 top P2P networks today and Yahoo is good. We tried Yahoo Voice, Skype and MSN Messenger Voice. The verdict? They’re all good. I think MSN may have won though. If you want to try it out, Skype me and we can chat.
Okay, here’s the 411 on Yahoo Voice:
Yahoo! Messenger with Voice takes instant messaging to a new level. Use it to connect in real-time and communicate how you want, when you want, with whom you want. In addition to sending text-based instant messages, you also get:
- Free worldwide PC-to-PC calling
- Drag-and-drop photo sharing with real-time discussions
- Stealth settings to control your time online
- Self expression through Avatars, Emoticons and Audibles
That’s not all! You can also get your own Yahoo Voice Phone In number (USA, UK and France available) for as little as $2.49 a month, which is cheaper than Skype. The only downside to their Phone In service is that there are a lot of area codes missing. I can’t get a local number with Yahoo, but I have one with Skype. I’m sure they’ll be adding more, as they just launched, but in the meantime it’s not as convenient for me.
The Phone Out is 2 cents a minute for USA and 1 cent per minute for UK.
Bottom line: There’s a new player in town and they’re good.

A Whole Lot of Shaking Going On…
These super heavy-duty massagers are AWESOME. Every time we go to big horse shows or exhibits, there’s always someone there with a booth set up selling these things and offering demonstrations. I always head to them and sit for a while and enjoy a good massage. If you’re lucky, the demonstrator will “hook you up” good with a foot massager too. This isn’t just any little massage, this leaves you tingling from head to toe and you feel it even for up to an hour after you’re done. You are all tingly and shaky.. but it feels good. You can have someone massage your back and shoulders all over, or you can sit it behind you in a chair and do it by yourself. Put your feet on one of these babies and you’ll have some fine feeling feet in no time.
My horse loves it too. When the equine chiropractor comes out to see him, he always gives him a massage and he just melts.. falls right to sleep while the guy is working on him.
This one is $219 which runs about right what they are charging at the shows as well. I couldn’t find a link to the exact ones that we have used but this one looks identical. They usually tout them as being good for people with diabetes and restless leg syndrome. I can’t vouch for that, but I do know for a fact that it really gets your blood flowing. I sooo have to just break down and buy one, but the price tag is just bothering me.

Sexy + Useful = Love it!

I don’t know about you, but my hands are always full and I tend to drop things. When an expensive gadget hits the floor I just cringe with fear. Well, my worries are over (at least as far as the iPod Nano goes) with the introduction of the TuneBuckle™. Available in both black and white, this sexy and useful belt is a must have for savvy chick’s on the go. The price is right on as well, it’s $49.95 and you can order it online today.
As you may notice, the model in the picture has a sexy flat tummy, don’t let that fool you into thinking only skinny models can wear their iPod. This belt is made to fit everyone! They’re sizes go up to 50 inches, which I think is a nice plus for this company. Smart move TuneBuckle™!
