Samsung is planning to release its 2GHz dual-core smartphone by next year.  According to a Samsung high-ranking official, the phone will have the data processing capacities just like a regular PC.

The overall speed of this Samsung smartphone will be 4GHz, which is likely to be double the speed of dual-core smartphones that are available today.  With more processing power users can run multiple applications and high-end games easily without allotting too much workload to the processors.

The better part of the Samsung 2GHz dual core smartphone is that its performance level will match most of the today’s desktop/laptops.  Since most PCs used these days have CPUs ranging 3 to 4 GHz.

The Samsung 2GHz dual core smartphone users might also see considerable increase in battery life as well, as the phone won’t be using the full processing power while running videos, music and applications.

There’s no official word from Samsung regarding the OS that the phone will run, but it’s likely to run any latest Android version.
