What Sites Are Your Kids Visiting?
This isn’t a new website and maybe you’ve seen it before, but more of a reminder to parents that in this day and age you can’t be too careful when it comes to your children being online. K9 Web Protection is a free program that parents can use to monitor their children’s online activity.
FYI: It’s NOT spying. Have you seen Dateline’s “To Catch a Predator” or heard of the many horror stories about children on the Internet? Wise up folks!
The Internet is a fascinating place, full of rich and interesting information. But as a gigantic virtual community, it has “good neighborhoods”, “questionable neighborhoods”, and “downright bad neighborhoods”.
With K9, you can decide which neighborhoods are OK to visit, and which ones aren’t. That ability makes a big difference when you’re trying to provide a safe environment for children. K9 makes it easier to let your children explore and learn on the Internet, while you do what you can to keep them safe.
Want even more options? How about ‘real-time’ monitoring? Then you’ll need to try Web Watcher. It’s not free, but it’s a top notch software with lots of features.

Great Phone, Great Price - Target Rocks!
Ever need an extra cell phone? Maybe you’re between cell phone plans and just need a simple phone to get you by?
Target is offering the Nokia 6030 free with the purchase of a $100 prepaid card. (You save $39.99)
The Nokia 6030 is a very nice phone too, not some shabby cheap mobile phones that I’ve seen other carriers sell. It includes a speakerphone, FM radio, games, melody composer, and the other standard features like calculator, phone book, alarm, etc.
The $100 prepaid card gives you 1000 minutes that are valid for an entire year. Not too many prepaid mobile phone plans offer this, which is a nice bonus. Even if you used the 1000 minutes and tossed the phone, it’s still a good deal, so I recommend going for it.
It’s only available in Target stores (not online) and the sale is valid through Saturday, October 21, 2006.

Sleek, Sexy, Stylish… Digital Camera
Savvy Chick loves the Nikon - Coolpix S9 Digital Camera
Sleek design, Nikon Coolpix quality, 6 megapixels and a hot magenta color… what more could a tech savvy girl ask for? Okay, so it’s magenta not pink, but honestly the magenta color looks so modern and stylish that I’ve fallen in love. It’s a grown up, savvy chick design and the quality you’ve come to expect from Nikon.
This is going to be one of the hottest Christmas gifts this year!
Nikon’s stylish Coolpix S9 combines 6.0 effective megapixels with a 3x optical Zoom- Nikkor ED glass lens for stunning prints as large as 16x20 inches. The sleek, all-metal design slips right in your shirt pocket or purse, and the incredible, bright 2.5-inch LCD offers a 170-degree wide-angle of view that makes it easy to compose and share pictures. A One-Touch Portrait Button makes beautiful family photographs a snap.
What are you waiting for? Buy one for yourself today
Okay, so maybe girls don’t get to have all the fun! The Nikon Coolpix S9 is also available in silver, unless your man likes pink!
