Panasonic announced its first pocket camcorder, the HM-TA1. The HM-TA1 pocket camcorder shoots 1080p HD videos at 30 frames per second. And, the camcorder’s 8-megapixel lens allows you to capture high quality images which will be stored to SD, SDHC, or SDXC card.
Some of the other additional features of the HM-TA1 pocket camcorder include a front-mounted LED lamp for nigh shooting, image stabilizer, 4x digital zoom, 2-inch LCD screen and flip-out USB connector.
The other best part of the HM-TA1 is that you can use the device as webcam when connected to a computer through the USB cable. According to Panasonic, the HM-TA1 pocket camcorder is compatible with Skype and other video chat applications.
The Panasonic HM-TA1 pocket camcorder will start shipping in August for $170 and will be available in red, dark gray and purple colors.
