Onkyo announced three new Atom-powered tablet PCs in Japan. The TW317A5 model will get an 11.6-inch screen with 1.6GHz Atom Z530 processor, whereas the TW117A4 and TW217A5 tablets will have a 10.1-inch display and 1.66GHz Atom N450 processor.
The Onkyo TW117A4 tablet PC will have a 160GB hard disk and TW217A5 model will get a much faster 32GB SSD. The 11.6-inch TW317A5 model will also support 720p resolution. Some of the other common specifications include 1GB RAM, Bluetooth v2.1 and Wi-Fi. Depending on the model, the battery life varies from 3.8 to 6.4 hours.
All these models will hit the Japan market in October for a price tag of $800 to $1,122. There is no news on when the devices will arrive in North America.
