Nikon has just announced two new digital point-and-shoot cameras, the Nikon Coolpix S110pj and Coolpix S5100.
Nikon Coolpix S1100pj: Built-in Projector camera
The Nikon Coolpix S1100pj comes with a 14-megapixel lens and front-mounted projector. The camera also supports a USB port which enables the users to project images and videos directly from their Windows and Mac computers at distances of up to 7 feet.
The Nikon Coolpix S1100pj has a brightness rating of 14-lumens which is much higher than most of the standalone pico projectors. Some of the additional features of the Coolpix S1100pj include a 3-inch touchscreen LCD display, 5x optical zoom, motion tracking, 720p HD video recording and more.
The camera will be available in black, green, violet and silver colors and is due to release this September for $350.
Nikon Coolpix S5100 : Fastest snap a shot camera
The Nikon Coolpix S5100 digital camera is said to be the fastest camera that can snap a shot within 0.75 seconds.
The camera ships with features like 12-megapixel 5x optical zoom lens, digital image stabilization, motion-tracking and 720p HD video recording support at 30 fps. The S5100 will ship in October in four different colors black, pink, purple and blue with the price tag of $180.
