At last the date had come for Apple fans who were expecting the release of the new Apple MacBook with Thunderbolt. The new MacBook will feature processors that are twice as fast as the previous versions. The MacBook also gets more powerful Intel’s Thunderbolt connection port that can transfer data at high speed.
Intel’s Thunderbolt data ports can easily handle data transfer up to 10 Gbps, which is much faster than currently used data ports. So, with such high speed data port you can easily connect your external accessory such as a hard drive or pen drive to the port and transfer data instantly.
The new MacBook Pros notebook is available in three ranges 13-inch, 15-inch and 17-inch. The 13-inch MacBook Pros comes with the Intel’s Core i5/ Core i7 chips and the Intel HD integrated Graphics 3000 chip. Meanwhile, the 15-inch and 17-inch MacBook Pros comes loaded with the quad-core Intel Core i7 processors and the AMD Radeon HD graphics chips with up to 1GB of onboard memory.
The new MacBook Pros Thunderbolt series notebooks are expected to give 7 hours battery life, which is lower than the previous version, which used to give up to 10 hours battery life.
The MacBook Pro notebooks are available for sale at Apple retail stores starting $1,200 to $2,500.
