NetTalk, a telephone company that offers VoIP services to U.S residents has announced the world’s first-ever Wi-Fi VoIP device, which is expected to be available at all Target stores nationwide starting early April. The device will also be available at a variety of other retailers across the U.S. very soon.
The new netTALK DUO WiFi is the first VoIP device and digital phone service that didn’t require a computer to work. You can either just connect the device directly to your modem or router, else connect it to your computer/laptop to make and receive calls. No matter how you connect it, you’ll always have the phone service with you that let you make high quality calls anytime.
You can save huge money off your phone bill easily with the new netTALK DUO WiFi as it doesn’t require any long term contracts or monthly payments. Another amazing feature is that you can choose a phone number of your own or keep the exiting one, which is perfect if you want to take your phone line with you anywhere you go.
Some of the other features of the netTALK DUO WiFi include free local and long distance call to the U.S and Canada from anywhere in the world, low cost calling plans, live support, videophone capability and conference call support. In addition, the device is fax-friendly and supports visual voicemail as well as 3-way calling.
The netTALK Smartphone Application lets you make free calls to Canada and the U.S. directly from your Android, iOS or Windows enabled mobile phones or tablets via Internet connection. Therefore, you can save cell phone minutes and roaming charges. The application supports different connectivity options such as WiFi, Edge, 3G and 4G.
The new netTalk Duo WiFi device would cost you $64.95, which includes one year of service.
