Motorola has announced its new clamshell model cell phone, the Motorola WX295. This mobile phone operates under the GSM 900 / 1800 and GSM 850 / 1900 network. The Motorola WX295 features a 1.8-inch screen with 128 x 160 resolution and measures 96 x 46.5 x 16.7mm.

The phones inbuilt memory can store up to 800 entries and the microSD card expands the phones memory up to 2GB. Additional features of the Motorola WX295 include a secondary OLED Display, Bluetooth v2.0, VGA camera and Stereo FM radio with RDS.
The phone uses a standard Li-Ion 750 mAh battery that offers up to 580 hours of stand-by time and up to 8 hours of talk time. The phone is expected to hit the market by second quarter of 2010.
