Motorola and Verizon have officially announced the launch of the Motorola DROID X. The Motorola DROID X smartphone comes with a 4.3-inch TFT touchscreen display that offers resolution of 854 x 480 pixels.
The DROID X has an 8 megapixel camera with auto-focus that is capable of recording 720p HD video. Additional specification of the phone include 1GHz processor, Android OS v2.2, 512MB RAM, 8GB internal storage, microSD slot which is expandable up to 32GB, WiFi, Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP and USB port.

The Motorola DROID X is said to have much better call quality and data capabilities as compared to other series phones. The phone’s 1570mAh battery will offer full day of heavy use.
The Motorola DROID X is set to hit the market on July 15 for about $199 along with Verizon’s $29.99 smartphone data plan.
