Motorola Droid Pro is launched as a competitor to the BlackBerry market in San Francisco. The Motorola Droid Pro is due to be released on Verizon Wireless network next month.
The Droid Pro features a 3.1-inch touch screen display, QWERTY keypad and 5-megapixel camera. The phone also allows the users to edit and read Microsoft Office documents easily. The Motorola Droid Pro comes with a security feature that lets an administrator remotely to erase all the data from the phone and MicroSD card, if the device is stolen or lost. Motorola is also set to integrate a new ability that will encrypt all the data stored on the phone and MicroSD card as well for more security.
The Motorola Droid phone supports both CDMA and GSM networks that includes 3G as well. The device will run the new Android 2.2 operating system aka Froyo. If you are looking for a BlackBerry alternative device that meets your requirements, then Motorola Droid might be a good choice.
