Motorola has just released the Ming-series Android powered mobile phones for the Chinese market. The Beihai MT810, Qilin XT806 and Lucky A1680 are meant for the China Mobile’s TD-SCDMA network, Telecom’s CDMA network and Unicom’s WCDMA network respectively.
The Motorola MT810 comes with a 3.2-inch touch screen with dual-touch system, 480p video recording feature, 720p video playback support and China Mobile’s OS 2.0 customization of Android. The Motorola Qilin XT806 has a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, CDMA/EVDO support, GPS, 720p video recording and Android 2.1 OS.
Finally the Lucky A1680 is a 5-megapixel 3.1-inch AMOLED touchscreen phone with WiFi and WAPI support. Applications can be downloaded from the Motorola’s SHOP4APPS store for both XT806 and A1680 models.
Prices are yet to be announced, and we are also not sure whether Motorola will be releasing the Ming-series in North America.
