Microsoft’s Forefront Identity Manager 2010

Microsoft has decided to launch its Forefront Identity Manager 2010, a top class server management software which can provide provisioning and de-provisioning user access and rights for all kinds of resources like networks and databases. This Forefront Identity Manager can be used as a policy-based access controls which can bee used in an organization. The features are more advanced and one of the notable is the automated IT administration. This Forefront Identity Management 2010 works based on a “rules engine” which decides each users roles and gives access matching the criteria. Forefront Identity Manager is capable of working in Active Directory and is best suited for identity synchronization. This also has many other features which will be discussed later.
