Magellan, a leading GPS device developer has unveiled its new range of next generation handheld GPS devices. The device is named as eXplorist and comes in three different models the eXplorist 510, 610 and 710.

Each eXplorist model comes with whole lot of features like high-sensitivity GPS, easy user interface, mapping and navigation system. Some of the other additional features include a 3-inch touchscreen display, 3.2-mega pixel camera with auto-focus, microphone and speaker.

The eXplorist GPS 610 and 710 additionally comes with features like electronic compass, altimeter and weather pattern tracking. The GPS device is also said to provide up to 16 hours of battery life.

Pricing starts at $349.99 for eXplorist 510, $449.99 for eXplorist 610 and $549.99 for the eXplorist 710.
