Lenovo has joined the ultra portable laptop series by unveiling the new Thinkpad X1 13.3-inch notebook.  However, there is no official press release from Lenovo yet about this new ultra portable laptop.  The thin Thinkpad X1 will hit the market sometime this May 2011.

The Lenovo X1 laptop comes loaded with great specs including the Intel Core i5-2520M processor, 4GB RAM and 320 GB hard disk drive.  There is no dedicated graphics card, but the integrated Intel HD graphics will be more than sufficient for running all your basic applications on the 0.85-inches thin laptop.

The 13.3-inch LCD display should make the laptop look more compact and portable to carry around anytime, anywhere.  It also comes with LED backlit keyboard, USB 3.0, HDMI and Display port.  The 720p front facing camera will help you to keep in touch with your friends and family via HD video chatting.

The new Lenovo Thinkpad X1 laptop is expected to offer an average of up to 8 hours battery life and runs Window 7 Professional 64 Bit operating system.  According to Amazon UK , the laptop will be released on May 20, 2011 for £1,292.52 (about $ 2120).
