Lenovo has announced that it is launching the LePhone in China. The Lenovo LePhone is an Android 2.1 powered device with large AMOLED display and many user-friendly interface features. According to Rory Read, Lenovo’s chief operating officer, Lenovo is planning to target both enterprise and consumer customers and estimated to sell over millions of phone in the next five years.
As for specifications, the device has a 3.7-inch 480 x 800 touchscreen display, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, two cameras (3MP on the back and VGA in the front). The phones is said to work with all three of China’s third-generation wireless standards, including TD-SCDMA.
