LG has announced that they have obtained the ‘Windows 7 touch logo’ for its touch screen panels. They are the first to gain the Windows 7 touch logo sticker for laptop displays. The LG’s in-cell multitouch functionality enables simultaneous touch recognition on two points. This LG multi-touch product has got touch sensors that is built into the display. This is completely different from normal conventional touch screen products in which they place films for touch screen function to the standard display.

This multi-touch display increases the brightness and picture quality which the regular multitouch lags in. LG has also got plans to start the mass production of the multitouch panel in the second half of this year.
