Apple iPad tablet computer has been in rumours for several months. However, finally Mr. Jobs unveiled it to the public in San Francisco. Now the big question is, How does it live up to the rumours? Will this satisfy the consumers? I think, we have to wait for sometime to find out the answers.
Anyway, now we will see the specification of Apple iPad tablet. The size of the tablet PC is very much what we had been expecting. It weighs just 1.5 pounds with only half an inch thick. A 9.7- inch IPS display will allow you to watch videos and browse Internet with ease. The display is a multi-touch one, which is the same as in the iPhone.
Full QWERTY touch-screen keyboard, 1GHz Apple A4 chip and 64 GB of flash storage are added to its specs. Mr. Jobs announced that the iPad tablet computer would go for 10 hours continuous usage on a single charge, and a month of standby time. It has a built-in accelerometer, compass, microphone, speaker connectors and Bluetooth. You can also use a full-sized Apple external keyboard by connecting it to the accessory port.
Prices are much less than expected. Basic ipads model, 16GB storage and WiFi are just $499. Top end model, with WiFi, 3G and 64GB of Flash memory is $829. We need to wait for a month or so to see it in the market.

In my opinion, it sounds just like a bigger version of the iPhone. You woud think they would add something more to it.
May be they would introduce a newer version of Apple iPad with some enhanced features..!!
