According to recent rumors, Intel has been planning to release a new Core i5 580M processor by this year. This new processor is said to have much faster clock speed than its predecessor the Core i5 540M processor.
The release of Core i5 580M processor will help you to work on applications with standard clock speed of 2.66GHz and when it is over clocked it will feature 3.33GHz of turbo speed. The new Core i5 580M processor uses only 35 W of power, regardless of increased processor speed.
Price of the Core i5 580M processor is yet to be revealed.
