It is always not easy to hold your iPhone or iPod while driving, especially those who travel through cycle. Now there’s an option to mount your iPhone or iPod securely onto your bike using a new gadget called the iBike Dash.
The iBike Dash turns your iPhone or iPod into a biking computer, eventually you don’t need to carry a separate GPS or speed monitoring device with you as well. The iBike Dash’s waterproof case also protects your iOS device from rain and bad weather.
The iBike Dash also includes an ANT+ speed sensor which allows you to measure heart rate, speed and intensity while riding your bike. Also you can make use of your iPhone’s GPS feature to know your direction. However, if you are an iPod user then there is no way to use the GPS facility, as there is no built-in GPS comes with the iBike Dash.
The new iBike Dash is available in two models, basic and deluxe package. You can get your hands on the basic model for $199 and $329 for the deluxe package. Though you get more features with the device, it is quite high in price while compared to a normal bike mount.
