HP has now released a new video of its upcoming Windows 7 slate. It seems like HP is trying to compete with the iPad. HP, Adobe and Microsoft have worked together to bring out this new HP slate. Adding to it, HP slate will be able to play several hours of HD video on a single battery charge. HP slate has a good clear touch area along with large icons and faster web browser. Since 75 % of the videos on website use flash, with HP slate you don’t have specifically to load a separate application to watch flash videos.
Nothing much is known about the specifications. Anyway, I don’t think there will be a clash in release between iPad and HP slate, because HP tablet slate is expected to be released only by end of this year.
