The wait for Google maps with voice support is now over. Google has now finally announced Google Maps 4.1 for Symbian S60 mobiles and Windows mobile with “Search by voice” function. The Search by voice feature will help you to search for places by just speaking, instead of typing the search terms. Also note that this feature is already available on the BlackBerry and Android mobile phones, so it is new only to Windows and Symbian mobile users.
The Search by voice feature support multiple English accents and Mandarin Chinese. Google Maps 4.1 can be installed by going to http://m.google.com/maps from your windows or symbian mobile.
