Google has always shown high interest to buy small companies. Now, the recent news which is floating around the Internet is “Google Buys Episodic”. Episodic is an online platform for broadcasting, measuring and monetizing live and on-demand video on the web or any web-enabled device. Episodic is Google’s fifth acquisition of the year. 
Google has already bought companies like reMail, Picnik, DocVerse and Aardvark since January 2010. According to Tech Crunch, the Episodic staff will join the Youtube offices next week and all the services will be folded into Youtube.
