Today almost everyone likes to have a HD webcam that can provide great quality video chatting, provided you have a high speed broadband connection. Companies like Logitech and Microsoft had already dominating the market with their best quality webcams. Adding to the list, Creative has recently joined the full HD webcam battle with it’s released of the Cam Socialize HD 1080 HD web camera.
The new Cam Socialize HD 1080 web camera features a 1080p resolution full HD sensor, wide-angle glass lens and dual array microphones. The HD webcam also features noise cancellation technology and a business card scanning function. The built-in dual array microphone enables the user to input their voice from any angle ranges from 20° to 180°. The1080p video captured through the Live! Cam Socialize HD webcam can also be played back at 30 frames per second.
Creative also announced two other HD camera ranges, the Cam Socialize HD AF and Live! Cam Chat HD. Both these model features a similar look to the 1080p model except they support only 720p HD resolution video play back. The Cam Socialize HD AF and the Live! Cam Chat HD is priced at $69.99 and US$39.99 respectively, whereas the Live! Cam Socialize HD 1080 web camera is priced at $89.99. Availability of these products are not yet confirmed.
