Cisco’s Plan for Cloud Apps and Securing Mobile

Cisco has decided to launch its security product to the enterprise world whose main aim is to provide complete security to enterprise users. This new innovation from Cisco is called as “Always On” security function for mobile devices as a means to establish its control over cloud computing application. This protocol is called as the Secure Borderless Network Architecture by Cisco. This initiative is a combination of three products namely Cisco AnyConnection client, Cisco’s IronPort Web Security Appliance and the Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance. The combination of three products provides the much needed Always On VPN function as well as Client Protection. The main advantage of using this Cisco Technologies is protecting the mobile devices of employees. And this technology can also bridge the gap between the VPN and Cloud Computing if it goes well.
