Need For USB Disk Security

In this fast paced world with numerous technologies rising up, security has become one of the do-facto for many organizations and individuals.  As we see new threats rising up through all kinds of technology for the data people are very concerned about the safety of their precious and valuable data’s that are stored both online and offline.  Here our job is to update our guests with all kinds of knowledge on all the latest happenings in the world of technology.  Okay, let’s get into it right away now.  USB has completely revolutionized the storage industry far beyond we expected.  But how many of us know about its threat.  Not many.  This is because we have equipped to use it for our own purposes without any bad intentions.

But hackers out there are really smart enough to steal data through the USB disk.  When you visit some online hacking communities several codes and applications are available for free which can enable them to transfer all kinds of sensitive data’s like passwords, bank accounts and so on very easily.  Apart from this knowingly or unknowingly a USB stick can transfer and deposit threatening worms and Trojans without any detection by the Anti virus software.  A successful execution of a Trojan can also result in remote monitoring without any notice.  What can be done to this is the ultimate question for us.  First, have a good genuine Antivirus software like NOD 32 which can offer complete stealth with minimal use of resources.  1253979326_usb-disk-security Read more…
