Finally the wait is over, like we had mentioned in our previous post, the BlackBerry PlayBook is available for purchase in most of the stores across US and Canada.
Now you can purchase the Blackberry PlayBook 16GB for $500, while the 32GB and the 64GB versions is on sale for $600 and $700, respectively. Due to the lack of applications including native email and calendar, we are not sure whether anyone wants to buy one now.
The Android app compatibility is also yet to be announced for the PlayBook, and dependence on a Blackberry phone in order to be a fully functional tablet will surely creates uncertainty in customers mind.
Nevertheless, the Blackberry PlayBook tablet does packs with some great features like 3.0 megapixel HD front facing camera, 5.0 megapixel HD rear facing camera, micro USB port, Micro HDMI port for easy connection to an HDTV, 64GB internal memory and 1GB RAM.
The 7-inch touch-screen display of the Blackberry PlayBook boasts 1024 x 600 resolution for sharp viewing of images and videos. As far connectivity concern, the Playbook comes with Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n network for easy internet access on the go.
