AT&T announced a new cool application called the AT&T U-verse® Mobile for the BlackBerry Curve 3G smartphone.  This application lets the BlackBerry Curve 3G customers to enjoy their favorite TV programs by downloading TV shows directly to their smartphones over any Wi-Fi connection.  Customers who have subscribed for the U-verse TV can browse through their favorite TV programs from anywhere with ease.

Customers who have subscribed for the U300 or higher package have the ability to download the TV contents to their smartphone.
According to Jeff Weber, vice president of video services, AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets, the new U-verse application will be currently available in four major mobile operating systems and will be extended to more devices in near future.

The introduction of the new U-verse TV application has made AT&T as the only national network provider to offer 100 percent Internet Protocol-based television (IPTV) service.  That said, AT&T also offers the nation’s fastest mobile broadband and largest Wi-Fi network as well.   AT&T customers can download the U-verse Mobile from BlackBerry App World.[via: att]
