Asus USB 3.0 is 75% faster than competitors

Asus announced that their USB 3.0 version is 75 % faster than any other USB connectors in the world. Asus have already implemented their next generation connectors on their digital media players, motherboards etc.  Now they are saying that not all USB 3.0 connectors can give high speed data transfers like them. The component which is responsible for it is a PLX high-speed transmission chip, which can boost the USB 3.0 speed by 75% when compared to other motherboard brands. Usually the maximum speed that a USB 3.0 supports is 4.8 Gbit/s. However, to experience the full speed I think we need to wait for few years.
