Asus recently unveiled its much awaited tablet, the Asus Padfone at Computex. The Asus Padfone first looks like an ordinary tablet, but if you check out the rear side of the tablet you’ll notice a docking case where you can see a smartphone being tucked inside.
The Asus Padfone can also be called as tablet phone, since it is equipped with a smartphone as well as tablet to form a single device. The smartphone and tablet runs Android OS and features 4 inch and 10 inch display respectively.
The smartphone and tablet both shares a single SIM card and the applications can be shared between the devices as well. You can also use the smartphone and tablet independently. You can dock the smartphone inside the rear case of the tablet for charging.
There’s no detailed specification or configuration information of the Asus Padfone tablet available and we don’t know the pricing and release date details either. However, we’ll try to update once we get more information about the new Asus Padfone tablet.
