ARCHOS one of the silent player (yet successful) in the tablet market has unveiled its third generation Android tablets. The ARCHOS G9 Tablets is designed to outperform all current available tablets on the market today.
ARCHOS has introduced the G9 Tablets in two ranges, 8-inch and 10-inch. Both these tablets are powered by the latest Android 3.1 Honeycomb Operating System, an OS which is specifically made for tablets.
As far the hardware specification, the all new G9 Archos Tablets will surely stand ahead of the rest. The G9 Tablets will be powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core OMAP4 processor which gives the needed power to maximize your media and Android experience. Also note that most of the current generation Android tablets are only using 1GHz processor, so the Archos G9 tablets are well ahead of others. The beauty of having Honeycomb OS is because of its multitasking feature and support to flash videos, so with the latest Archos G9 tablets you’ll be able to make most out of the OS with ease.
Both tablets are 3G ready, means you won’t be left with two options (WiFi or 3G) anymore. You can opt for an ARCHOS G9 3G stick for just 49€ which instantly turn your tablet into a 3G mobile broadband supported device. You can also use the same 3G stick with your Mac or Windows PC as well.
Now what makes the ARCHOS G9 tablets really impressive is its storage space. The tablets come in two models, flash and hard drive. The G9 hard drive model tablet has got a whooping 250GB storage space and measures only 3mm thicker than the flash drive tablets. So, now you’ll find enough space to store up to 40 full HD 1080p movies in your tablet.
The Archos 80 G9 and 101 G9 tablets will hit the stores in September 2011 with an expected price of $280 to $350.
