Amazon has announced the all new Kindle for just $114, which is about $25 less than the same bestselling Kindle available today.

The only difference with the new cheaper Kindle is that it displays special offers and sponsored screensavers on bottom of the home screen.  They don’t interrupt the users while reading or searching the ebooks as well.

Amazon has also created a free Kindle application called AdMash to help customers pick the sponsored screensavers which they find most attractive.

The hardware specification of the all new cheaper kindle is same as the $139 kindle.  It has a 6-inch diagonal display, E Ink Pearl display type and Wi-Fi.  It weighs just 8.5 ounces (241 grams) and provides up to 1 month of battery life with wireless off on a single charge.

Kindle also comes with 4GB of internal storage space which can hold up to 3,500 ebooks.  You can also browse through the web over WiFi connection with the new built-in WebKit-Based Browser.

Overall the new Kindle for $114 could be the preferred choice for people who cannot afford an iPad or other tablets.  The new Kindle will be released on May 3rd, but you can pre-order it now at Amazon website .
