Acer announced a new Android based smartphone, the Acer stream. Acer Stream is integrated with several social networking features that run with an Android v2.1 OS. Also the phone is built with shock resistant materials to withstand any tough situation.
The Acer Stream features a 3.7-inch touch screen AMOLED display with a contrast ratio of 2000:1. The phone also sports a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a 5 megapixel camera, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 512MB RAM and 2GB of flash memory. The phone also supports 720p HD video recording and Dolby audio.
Acer also offer a free streaming service called Spinlets, through which you can access your favorite social networking sites. The Acer Stream will be available on August 9th for a price tag of £399 ($617).
