Acer announced the new range of Timeline Ultra M5 Ultrabooks that is slim, stylish and lighter than previous Timeline models. The all new Aspire Timeline Ultrabook models measures just 0.81 inches thin and weighs around 4.3 pounds. They also offer powerful performance with the built-in Intel processors and Nvidia graphics, as well as all day battery life.
The Timeline Ultra M5 series Ultrabook looks elegant with its stylish silver cover that is made of aluminum alloy, which in-turn increases the system’s overall robustness as well. The 15.6-inch Ultrabook models features edge-to-edge LED-backlit display, which makes the screen look sleek and smooth. Also it features a full-sized chiclet keyboard with an independent numeric keypad for easy typing and accessibility.

All models include a DVD drive and a hard drive, while a 20GB integrated solid state drive is for enabling the instant-on capability. Also with two USB 3.0 ports, users can easily transfer files at up to 10 time faster speed than USB 2.0.
The Timeline Ultra M5 series is the only Ultrabook that can also be used for playing latest games or video editing, as some models comes with the powerful NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M LE dedicated graphics and Dolby Home Theater sound. Also the NVIDIA Optimus technology ensures that the battery life is conserved by using the dedicated graphics only when needed.
