Acer officially announced its new netbook series, the Acer Aspire One D260. The Aspire One D260 comes with an Intel Atom N455 1.66GHz processor, GMA 3150 graphics and 2GB of DDR3 RAM. The D260 netbook has a 10.1-inch 200-nit display that support a resolution of up to 1024 x 600.
The Acer Aspire One D260 features a 160GB or 250GB hard disk drive, Bluetooth 3.0 + HS, Wi-Fi, three USB 2.0 ports, card reader, VGA and audio in/out port.
The D260 also comes two battery sets, a 3-cell battery which provides up to 4 hours of back up or 6-cell that gives up to 8 hours back up. The notebook is set to release on July 1st 2010, price is not yet declared.
