3M M2256PW 22-Inch Multi-Touch monitor announced

3M Company recently showcased a 22-inch touch-sensitive monitor at InfoComm 2010.  The monitor can detect up to 20 points simultaneously.

The M2256PW monitor also comes with a projected capacitive touch panel and there will be three capacitive chips which are built inside the frame to detect the touch accurately.

The monitor features 1,680 x 1,050 pixel resolution with 6ms or shorter response time.  I don’t think that this monitor will have a great deal for home usage, but if you prefer something new as part of your gadget, then you can definitely get one for $1,500.
