I think 2010 is a tablet year, since many companies have getting into it already, now a German company 1&1 has launched its new Android tablet called the 1&1 SmartPad.
The new 1&1 SmartPad features a 7-inch WVGA LCD touchscreen display, ARM 11 500MHz CPU, 256 MB RAM and 1GB of internal memory. It is currently said to be shipped with Android OS v 1.6, which later to be updated to Android 2.2 by September. However, you cannot use the Android Market; instead you have to rely only on the 100 pre-installed applications.
Some of the other specification of 1&1 SmartPad is a USB WWAN dongle, pre-installed music player and a digital photo frame functionality support. Price details are not yet announced.
